Peggy Coleman Taylor

Voice of Advocacy; Founder; Executive Director

Peggy has been a horse enthusiast since birth, (and loves ALL creatures, land and sea). She had a fulfilling career in motion picture production, and now dedicates her life as a guardian of wild horses and burros, doing all that she can to alter their current course towards extinction. Pictured is Time Ahead (TA), whom Peggy had TA’s Sire and Dam and trained him for racing. He’s now 30 yrs young and is a loved therapy horse for trauma victims.

Karen Brady

Karen is a licensed CPA and enjoys helping individual and small business clients confidently navigate the complexities of the tax and accounting worlds. She's a lifelong artist; a master of hand-thrown pottery. Additionally, Karen is a practitioner with intuitive healings and psychic readings. She shares life with her wonderful husband and an amazing family of animals - including three horses, a mini horse, two goats, two ducks, two dogs, and a barn cat. She is seen here providing healing to several horses in a kill lot that were saved.

CDR. Douglas S. Taylor, USCG, Ret.

CDR. Taylor, a Ret. USCG helicopter pilot is a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross. With two tours in Alaska, he has made a life time career in saving human lives, and is now a supporter of saving the lives of wild horses. CDR. Taylor, a Native American style flute maker, tuned in 432 Hz (miracle tone) in honor of the spirit of the wild horses.

Zahara Henderson

Zahara is a junior advocate for the wild horses along with her North American native mustang, Just Blazin’, who lost his family and freedom from a BLM helicopter round-up at just 5 months old in Stewart Creek, WY HMA, 10/20/20. Zahara’s family includes three other mustangs and three reservation wild horses, in addition to stewarding several older mustangs saved from the slaughter pipeline. Zahara’s dream is to bring awareness to these national treasures and highlight the importance of protecting the wild horses who remain in the wild through USEF sports, where she will be competing in the USEF Pony-Jumper National Championship 08/11-8/14 in Lexington, KY. Zahara enjoys other challenges outside wild horse protections, as she actively participates in the Arts and maintains a 4.0 GPA academically.
